The Highland Kitchen
Nestled along the water, The Beacon House combines timeless materials with thoughtful craftsmanship to create a warm and inviting lakeside retreat. Working alongside Bowman Woodworking, Johnson Granite provided surfaces for the kitchen and powder bath, pairing dramatic black soapstone with elegant Cambria Brittanicca quartz for a look that is both sophisticated and approachable.
The Story.
Designed to feel both refined and inviting, The Highland Kitchen brings together the clean lines of modern design with the warmth of rustic, natural elements. Rich, dark cabinetry creates a bold foundation throughout the kitchen and entertaining spaces, while warm wood tones, exposed beams, and soft neutral finishes add character and balance. Every detail feels intentional, creating a home that is elevated without feeling overly formal.
The Kitchen
At the heart of the home, the kitchen serves as a natural gathering place. Dramatic stone countertops, timeless cabinetry, and thoughtfully selected finishes create a striking yet functional space made for everyday living and entertaining. Just beyond, a coordinating beverage area offers a place to slow down, share a conversation, or enjoy a quiet moment.
