The Story

The Greenbrier House is a celebration of timeless craftsmanship, natural materials, and thoughtfully layered design. Working alongside Greg Papenfus and the team at Ideal Cabinets and Lauren Hale Interiors, the home balances classic architectural details with warm, inviting spaces that feel collected over time.

Throughout the home, the countertops serve as a unifying element, connecting gathering spaces, private retreats, and custom built-ins with a palette that feels both refined and welcoming.

Throughout the home, soft painted cabinetry, natural wood tones, rich textures, and carefully selected quartz surfaces work together to create a palette that is both refined and welcoming. Lauren's signature style introduces depth and character through organic materials, moody accents, and thoughtfully curated details, while Greg's cabinetry design provides a timeless foundation that allows each space to shine.

The Kitchen & Pantry

The kitchen balances classic cabinetry with fresh, inviting details. Soft green accents, warm brass hardware, natural wood shelving, and bright quartz countertops create a space that feels both elegant and lived-in. The expansive island provides plenty of room for gathering, while the subtle veining in the quartz adds movement without overwhelming the design.

Tucked just beyond the kitchen, the butler's pantry continues the home's thoughtful design story. Rich green cabinetry paired with warm brass hardware creates a distinctive look, while the quartz countertops provide durable workspace for serving, storage, and everyday organization. The combination of painted cabinetry, open shelving, and natural materials makes this hardworking space feel just as intentional as the kitchen itself.
