Soapstone

Soapstone is made up of mineral deposits created by nature and quarried from the earth. It is quarried all around the world including the United States. Soapstone is ideal for countertops, backsplash, island tops, and fireplace hearths. It is recommended that mineral oil be applied upon installations. Soapstone won't burn or stain and requires very little maintenance.
